As a San Antonio native, Ian Alkire has been a Realtor since Dec of 2020 and spends most of his day problem solving to help his clients obtain not only a home but financial stability. Helping people is his passion, and his drive to help people succeed is his motivation. His journey before real estate was one that gave him top notch skills and leadership qualities. Ian joined the United States Army straight out of highschool right after graduation following the 9/11 tragedy where his military career began as a Combat Engineer in July 2002. After serving 14 years of honorable service, with 4 of those years being combat deployments, he retired at the rank of Sergeant First Class. He then moved on to the Transportation Security Administration in May 2017 and served as a Training Instructor at the Canine Training Center at Lackland AFB TX, where after 5 years of Civil service he was medically Retired. Other positions held in his military career include Specialized Search Dog Handler and Team Leader, Senior Handler and Squad Leader, Training Non Commission Officer, Kennel Master, Company Operations Sergeant and Instructor supervisor.

Ian is Married with three children and currently resides in the San Antonio area. His motto in real estate is ‘Everyone deserves a home and it's my job to make it happen!’
